Five Best Foodie Blogs. EVER.
Hi, friends. Foodie here. I have a confession to make.
I have a serious addiction to food porn.
Who doesn't these days? It's all so enticing. The staging, the props, the lighting, and of course the creative, showstopping food combinations that leave you hungry for more. So in honor of the years of my life that I've spent salivating over perfectly arranged charcuterie spreads and naked cakes decked in flowers, I thought I'd share my absolute favorite go to sources for foodie inspiration. Go forth and fawn, my friends. These bloggers have earned your undying adoration.
Tieghan is one of those people that if I met in real life, I'd probably just squeal in delight and run away. I find myself unexpectedly tongue tied by the sheer brilliance of her work. Her photos abound with natural light and shadows and she surrounds her food with natural props and the inherent, joyful mess that is cooking. But beautiful photos aren't enough if your recipes don't deliver and Tieghan's do. ALWAYS. Here are my favorite recipes from Half Baked Harvest that are sure to be hits in your household. As you'll see, caramelized is kind of her thing.

2. Broma Bakery
Over at Broma Bakery, Sarah is busy making baking look simple and elegant. With a few turns of her spoon, she whips up drool worthy concoctions of sheer decadence. Her photos are clean and bright, focused on pops of color that communicate her playful approach to creating in the kitchen. While she has been known to take on all things savory, her forte is definitely donuts. Try your hand at a few of Sarah's inspired enticements and you'll be back for more.

3. Pinch of Yum
This dynamic duo from Minnesota not only run a wildly successful food blog, Pinch of Yum, they also started their own food blogging network that teaches aspiring folks how to make it big in the business. Their blog is chock full of simple, healthy recipes that encourage using natural ingredients. Lindsay's photos incorporate lots of movement and creative staging, pulling viewers into her work and making personal connections to the food she shares. These are just a few Pinch of Yum recipes that are on regular rotation in our family menu. Lindsay's specialty is definitely bowls of savory that make for quick, easy dinners.

4. Sugar et al
When I stumbled upon Sonali's work on Facebook, I literally gasped. Her food photos are everything I long for mine to become. Moody, vintage shots overflowing with emotion and depth that seem to have spilled right out of a gothic novel. Sonali is a food stylist who does spreads for magazines and online publications, but she runs her blog, Sugar et al, to indulge her obsession with baking. These are the recipes I'd recommend from Sonali's gorgeous repertoire to create your next show stopping stunner for the table. Sugar et al's calling card is definitely fruit based desserts.
